Morning Meltdown 100 … Yes, 100!
I loved this program! I was a little worried I’d get bored, after all, this is almost a four month program, but it was actually pretty great. Jericho Matthews incorporated some crazy moves that I have never seen before like burpee bolts and bravehearts. So fun and so challenging. It’s 5 phases of fun, including cardio, upper and lower body, mixed martial arts, yoga-flows, core, and really just all over body. There are no “rest days.” You really are meant to workout every day. The active recovery days are built in and prepared for you. While it’s called “Morning Meltdown,” you can do it whenever it works for you.
What’s so interesting about this is that there’s a live DJ and the workouts are developed to use the beats. So you hear Jericho call out to the DJ about the tempo and the workouts become even more personal. The fun part is seeing how much improvement you have in the different moves.
You need some equipment, but nothing fancy: just some light, medium and heavy dumbbells and maybe a mat.
I will be honest, I doubled up the last phase to get done a little sooner. But, overall, I really enjoyed this program. Jericho has an ongoing support group on Facebook as well, which is fun.
