Slowdown Diet – Week 8
Living holistically is simply not just about mindfulness, fitness, and eating whole foods.
Various sources report the fact that prayer can cause changes both locally and globally. So good, right? And, in studies where people have made lasting positive changes, they typically have experienced some sort of major life change – such as fell in love made a career move, or left a negative relationship.
There is power in tapping into our spiritualty. And, even though they can be painful, spiritual transformations are always incredibly rewarding. You see, after a spiritual transformation, people begin to see the myriad of possibilities – outside of the human body and even outside of their one dimensional world. You shift your thinking to a place where anything is possible, which is incredibly empowering.
This is the final post in the 8 week series. The final assignment is to really invoke your Higher Power into your day and commit to creating the space to allow your soul a chance to heal and speak to you. My hope is that you discover the rich connections between your physical being and the spiritual world around you.
Take some time to pray, meditate, practice gratitude, and probably most important – forgive. All of these practices really do help live our best life.
